It's Chinese New Year (CNY) eve and I'm not home. Feels funny being away from home during this important festival. If I was back in Singapore, I'll probably be busy stuffing food into my tummy or just sitting around chatting with my cousins, whom I only see once/twice a year. It's strange and I kinda of feel homesick. So glad the Akita SGP Jets decided to meet up for reunion dinner. Although it involved driving an hour plus to and fro from Omagari to Akita City, it was worth it. Had a cosy little gathering with delicious shabu-shabu and warm company. It's amazing how you much a Singaporean you feel like when you are away from our little island and place in a cold cold place far from home.
Miss home. Wish I can enjoy all the festive mood and yummy CNY treats. *sign*
